Make the creamy, fruit-forward strawberry cold foam you love from coffee shops right in your kitchen. This recipe uses simple ingredients for a velvety topping for your daily iced coffee ritual.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup milk (any kind)
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup for coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, strawberry syrup for coffee, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  2. Use an electric hand mixer or a whisk to beat the mixture.
  3. Start on low speed and gradually increase to medium-high speed.
  4. Whip until the mixture thickens and forms soft peaks. This should take about 2 to 4 minutes. Do not over-whip, or it will turn into butter.
  5. Prepare your favorite iced coffee at home.
  6. Gently spoon the homemade cold foam over the top of your cold beverage.

Notes

  • For a thicker foam, use only heavy cream and reduce the milk slightly.
  • If you do not have strawberry syrup, you can blend 2 fresh strawberries with 1 teaspoon of sugar and strain the mixture before adding it to the cream.
  • This cold foam works well on cold brew or regular iced coffee.
